* It's locked (VENT)

I know the world doesn't need another non-specific "Sans mourning Papyrus with his scarf as the symbolic centerpiece" picture, and I wasn't going to finish and post this at first, but the colors ended up looking alright so I decided to do it anyway. The event that spurred the need to vent has long passed and has been resolved without harm, so don't worry about me; nobody died or anything like that.

I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that Sans will just shut down if you kill Papyrus; his door will be locked, the residents of Snowdin will question his disappearance just as much as his brother's, and he'll be removed from the game's world so absolutely that even his familiar theme song will be nowhere to be found. Despite his apathy, despite not batting an eyesocket if you kill scores of other people, despite having every reason to feel no sense of attachment to anything or anyone, he simply cares about his only remaining family too damn much to just shrug it off when he loses him. There's unconditional love, and then there's love so unconditional it supersedes scientifically validated nihilism pounded into you by millennia of Resets.

And people wonder why everyone loves these guys...
